Within the redesign of the simpleERB diary, a few features have been moved about or condensed for a cleaner view. There have been no major changes to how the system operates. We’ve highlighted below the small changes we’ve made for easy navigation when implementing the new design.
In the screenshots, you will see any new functionality changes highlighted in a green box.
Diary View -
Managers Day Book is scaled back in size and moved to the top right-hand corner with the option to view ‘Notes’ or same-day 'Cancellations’
View Options – booking Diary view filter moved to the top of the page with a drop list feature
The calendar date selector sits above the page view on the right side
The toggle button to display all booking's important notes sits to the right of the calendar date selector
Booking View -
To filter booking availability by cover size, there is now via a drop list feature on the left-hand side of the page titled - Filter by Cover
Add ‘Walkin’ button on each available timeslot
When adding a Manager Booking, the manager authorisation override is now required when confirming the booking. Previously it requested you to select a table and input manager details before attempting to make the booking.
Booking Form & Grid View -
The booking form has no changes in the way the form is used to input customer contact details and record requirements
We have removed a couple of fields that are no longer used
The Grid view has the same functionality
