Updating your Account to use the New Features

What changes can be made to utilise the new features

We’ve introduced several enhancements to improve your booking experience. Below are the optional settings you may wish to review and enable to adjust. These changes are not required immediately and can be applied at your convenience.



Do I need to update anything right away?

No — all new features are optional. Your diary will continue to function as per the normal setup, and you can make updates to enable new features whenever it suits you.


How do I manage which restaurant areas are available for online booking?

You can control which areas are available for online bookings by disabling any unwanted areas.

  • Select 'Edit' for the specific area

  • Turn off availability for any areas you don’t want customers to book through the widget


How do I enable the Online Waitlist feature?

If you’d like customers to be able to join a waitlist through your online booking widget:

  • Enable the Online Waitlist Signup option

  • Click 'save' to update the widget changes made


Can I customise the widget to match my branding colours?

You can update the widget’s appearance to reflect your venue’s branding. The default dispaly will be the simpleERB colour branding.

A design preview is displayed in the settings to review before applying these changes to the live widget.



Where can I create coupons/gift vouchers?

In your account, head to the General settings and locate > Coupons. You can begin creating coupons or auto-generating for customers to use online or staff to add to a phone booking.


How do multi-venue or linked accounts work in the widget?

If you manage multiple venues or linked accounts, you can choose how they appear in the online widget:

  • Display all venue accounts in a single booking widget, and the customer can choose from a drop list

  • Or exclude specific venues from the shared widget

  • This can be managed in Widget Settings > Show in chain location list


Do I need to update the widget script on my website?

Not immediately. After the new update is applied, your online widget will auto-update to the new design.

  • A temporary URL redirect will automatically display the new widget on your site after launch without any changes required on your website.

  • After a few weeks, we will ask to replace the old script with the new one

The updated script will be available in Website Code Settings. Send the new script to the person who manages your website to update.


Can I change the images for booking options?

Default images will be applied automatically, but you can customise them as required:
