Your customers may see an error when making a payment via Stripe

If your customers are reporting that they are unable to make a payment or if you are unable to test the payment feature, it may be that your stripe account has not been activated.

If this is the case the customer will see this message on the widget.

Your account cannot currently make live charges. If you are the site owner, please activate your account at https://dashboard.stripe.com/account/onboarding to remove this limitation. If you are a customer trying to make a purchase, please contact the owner of this site. Your transaction has not been processed.

It could be that the required business details have not been completed in your Stripe account. After logging in to your Stripe account, if you can't locate what is missing, we suggest reaching out to Stripe chat here.

Please be aware that the payment provider will charge you a transaction service fee on all payments processed.
