Each booking made on simpleERB gets automatically given a reference number.
Once a booking is made and saved, a green bar will appear showing the reference number and booking details.

Online widget bookings will display the booking reference number on the last step of the booking process and it is also listed on the customer's booking confirmation email.

Telephone bookings entered into the diary can also have an automated booking confirmation email sent to the customer so they have a copy of the booking reference. You can enable this in the Restaurant Info setting > Tick box under the restaurant booking email contact field > Yes, automatically send confirmation email to customer.

It is also shown on the customers booking email as well as at the top of the booking info screen.
