Table ranking can cause cover overrides if not updated when tables covers change.

If you find that bookings are being auto-allocated to tables that hold smaller max covers, this could be due to your table rankings by covers not being updated since changes were made to your table's individual max covers.

When you update tables within the table layout for cover sizes, you will need to also update the setting, Prioritize Table Ranking By Covers to reflect these table cover changes. If the setting is not updated, this will cause bookings to override the tables max cover and allocate the high cover bookings.

For example, in the image below T12 has a max cover size of 2, however, the table has been ranked for a booking of 6 covers. This means a booking of 6 covers will be overridden and allocated to T12.

To update the setting, go through booking sizes and delete your rankings that are no longer suitable and apply new rankings.
