Let your customers know about booking specific information

Our widget and messages for customers settings allow you to add important information to the booking widget to notify customers when booking.

In widget settings, the section at the bottom is where you can place your custom text. This is a permanent message but you can change this as required. This widget message appears to customers on the first stage of the widget, before they attempt a booking.

This is useful to make them aware that you may require customers to call for bookings for larger table sizes or about any promotions/ticketed events or that on Saturdays you require card details to secure bookings. You can add in any hyper links or make certain text bold/underlined/italics.

In messages for customers, enter your message and select when you want it to show due to the selected booking criteria, or have it permanently visible.

You can now select for text to be bold, italic or underlined and also add a hyperlink. Helpful to link out to a special menu you may be running on that booking date.

Whenever a customer tries to book on the widget, they'll see the info you want them to see.

We also now have the ability to add a permanent widget message on the first step of the online widget. This is to advise customers about anything they should be aware of when booking online, such as any online booking size restrictions or if booking something specific they should call directly.
