How do multi-venue or linked accounts work on the widget?
We now offer the facility to display on a single widget all multi-venue / linked accounts. This allows customers to select where they would like to book and then updates the widget display to the selected accounts availabilty.
Some of our users currently manage this for a specific venue location or a specialised booking area.
How to enable/disable an account for selection in the widget location chain.
This can be managed in Widget Settings > Show in chain location list.
Log in or switch to the specific account you want to exclude from the chain location list.
Head to the Widget Settings here.
Locate the section > Show in chain location list. Select 'OFF or ON'. Update the setting by 'Saving changes' at the bottom of the page.
How can I stop online booking for a certain linked account?
One of your linked accounts may be used to manage a private area or for a special type of service you offer, which you do not want to be bookable online.
After turning OFF the accounts online chain location to be used in a single widget, you can also close the account from online booking by applying the following;
No Web Book - Individual Tables
In the Table Layout setting here, select and enable 'no web book' for each table to turn off online booking allocation. Find further info about setting this up here.
Remove online booking availability
Within the Widget & Online Availabilty setting here, select each booking area's "All Tables" and set to remove for each recurring day in the week during service hours. Find further info about this here.
