Within your simpleERB reports section of your account, you can pull a payment report by date range of a booking period, to check if you need to follow up with any customers for payment requirements.
Remember: simpleERB payments and card capture are enforced so if the customer doesn't supply the set payment requirement by the rules due date or when making a widget booking, the booking will be automatically cancelled. Telephone bookings that are not updated with requirements by due date will receive a cancellation booking email. For further information on the auto cancellation process, please click here.
How to chase up bookings that have not yet supplied details?
You can easily chase for the payment/card details if the booking is coming close to the requirements due date, within the customers IBP (individual booking place), by using the auto resend email button under the payment details section. This will be recorded here as well with a sent time stamp.
It is useful to always set a due by date in the payment rule so that an auto-reminder payment due email is sent to the customer to prompt payment.

How does the payment report work?
You can filter the report to show a set booking date range and what type of payment details you require. The report can be easily exported as a CSV file.
An additional useful feature is the tick option of "show additional history". By selecting this option, it give you historical details of each customer, that includes;
Payment paid/refunded time stamp
Time stamp of auto payment link, manual resend payment link email and reminder email being sent
Manager override records
We also have easily identifiable icons that appear on the customers bookings in all screen views to show the payment status. The icon key can be located below and at the bottom of each screen view in your account.
The payment report can also help you to identify if you need to adjust your payment requirements if you are finding that some part booking sizes are not completing the requirements or not confirming the widget booking. To view these bookings that have been auto-cancelled when payment details not supplied, please select the 'unpaid cancellations' criteria.
How can I monitor existing bookings on the old payment process to chase payment?
We have highlighted this in the payment report, by identifying bookings on the new process within the booking source column. They will be labelled as either an ‘enforced telephone’ or ‘enforced widget’ as you can see in the example image above.
The bookings on the old payment or ' requested' process will still receive auto reminders to prompt customers to complete the requirements. If you wish to not accept these bookings if these requirements are not met, you will need to manually cancel these in your diary. To see the booking payment history, tick in the 'show additional history' when surfacing the report.
We currently integrate with the following payment providers to securely process and manage the payment process; Stripe and takepayments. Please be aware that the payment provider will charge you a transaction service fee on all payments processed.
