Customers who book online via your simpleERB widget can also be charged for payments or card capture on bookings to assist with decreasing the amount of 'no shows'.

All you need to do is once you have set up the payment integration, ensure you have your booking payments/card capture rules in place. You can set up these rules here within your account and you can find more information on how to do this here

When the customer books online via the widget, if a payment/card capture is required for their requested booking date/time, they will be alerted in the blue comment box of the payment requirements. Please see the example image below.

Before continuing with the booking process to supply card details or make a payment, the customer must tick the booking condition boxes to confirm they accept your terms and conditions of booking (viewable through the link). You can see the tick boxes in the image example above.

After accepting and continuing to supply the card/payment, the customer will be directed to your payment gateway provider, as per the example below for Stripe. The customer can securely supply either card details or make the payment. Only after the card/payment has been successfully accepted will the customer be directed to the final booking confirmation page, advising the booking reference number, a receipt option and stating a confirmation email has been sent.

*We currently integrate with the following payment providers to securely process and manage the payment process; Stripe and takepayments. Please be aware that the payment provider will charge you a transaction service fee on all payments processed.
